### Welcome to the Lux Finance Circle
Our Mission: To Build a Community of Empowered, Evidence-Based Investors.
This is a group for finance enthusiasts, professionals, and anyone in Luxembourg serious about building long-term wealth through a rational, evidence-based approach.
We reject the "get-rich-quick" narratives and market noise that dominate financial media. Instead, our focus is on timeless principles, data-driven strategies, and the disciplined application of knowledge. Our goal is to create a space for intelligent, open-minded discussion where we can learn from each other and hold ourselves to a higher standard of financial thinking.

This is not a typical lecture series. Our meetups are structured as casual, discussion-based gatherings designed to foster genuine connection and shared learning.

This group is for you if you are a lifelong learner who believes in a disciplined, long-term approach to building wealth. Everyone is welcome, from the curious beginner ready to learn the fundamentals to the seasoned professional who enjoys debating advanced concepts.
Our only rule is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to both share your knowledge and challenge your own assumptions.
### About the Organizer:
This group is organized by Romain Lucas, a finance coach and the founder of Smart Money Growth. His mission is to empower European investors with the knowledge and frameworks to manage their own financial futures with confidence. He achieves this through free educational content, this community, and private one-on-one coaching and mentorship programs.

Ask five people in Luxembourg where to invest and you'll hear five answers. Your bank suggests its own funds, a colleague only buys ETFs and an insurer offers you a life insurance contract. A friend is buying a flat to rent out, and there's still the mortgage to pay down.

The question for this evening is the broad one: where should a Luxembourg resident invest? What should you invest in: shares, bonds, ETFs, funds, property, or simply cash? Which account should hold it: your bank, an online broker, a pillar 3 contract or a life insurance contract? And are the local insurance and pension products worth considering at all?
🧭 Format of the Event
This is a casual, discussion-based gathering with no long presentations. We'll sit around the table, and your host Romain will kick things off with a short introduction covering:
• What you can invest in, from shares, bonds and ETFs to funds, property and cash, and what each one is for
• Where you can hold it: a bank brokerage account, an online broker, a pillar 3 (111bis) contract, a Luxembourg life insurance contract or an employer share plan
• Which insurance and pension products are worth considering, and when they aren't
• What being a Luxembourg resident changes: tax, costs, and how easy it is to get out againRomain will say where his own money is invested and why, and the same questions get put to him.
From there, we open the floor for discussion. We won't rank providers or recommend products. Bring your own situation and the question you've never had a straight answer to.Recommended Preparation
Before the event, write down where your investable money is today (savings account, funds, pillar 3, life insurance, property, or nothing yet) and one question about it you'd like answered. If you haven't started investing, write down what has stopped you so far.👥 Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome. This discussion will be especially valuable if you are:
• Someone with savings in a bank account who has been meaning to start investing and doesn't know where to begin.
• Someone who already holds ETFs, funds or shares and wonders whether a pillar 3 or a life insurance contract would add anything.
• Someone who was offered an investment by their bank or insurer and never compared it with anything else.
• Someone with a mortgage and spare cash every month, wondering whether the next euro belongs in an investment or against the loan.🤝 Bring a Colleague
