🌲 GROUP CAMPING TRIP: RED ROCK CANYON 🌲
Join us for an unforgettable outdoor weekend getaway from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18! We are combining a great hike, a massive community potluck, and an overnight desert campout at the Red Rock Canyon Campground.
Whether you are joining us just for the Saturday potluck or camping with us for the weekend, we cannot wait to see you there!
💰 Camping Fees & RSVP
- Potluck Only: FREE! (No fee if you are just attending the daytime potluck)
- Single Camper: $25 per person
- Family Camping Pass: $50 total (Covers parents + kids)
- How to Pay: Please send your payment via Zelle - Heather Peden 702-296-6132
- RSVP & Payment Deadline: Friday, September 25th to secure your camping spot.

📅 Weekend Schedule (Oct 16 - Oct 18)
- Friday, Oct 16 (3:00 PM onward): For campers staying Friday night.
- Saturday, Oct. 17 (3:00–8:00 PM): Food, drinks, games, campfire, and time to hang out with the LV Hikers community.
- Saturday, Oct 17 (4:30 PM): Grab some food and gather around! A few of our organizers will share a little about the hiking community, and we will swap stories, favorite memories, and experiences from past hikes.
- Sunday, Oct 18 (11:00 AM): Camp check-out time.

📍 Where We Are Staying & Eating
- Campsites: F-Burro & G-Big Horn
- Location: Red Rock Canyon Campground Official Site
- Setup: These two sites sit right next to each other, giving our large group plenty of space to spread out while staying connected.

🚗 Arrival & Parking Limits
- Check-In Time: 3:00 PM (For campers wishing to set up tents early)
- Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM (Sunday)
- Vehicle Limit: Strictly 8 vehicles maximum per campsite (16 total for our entire group).
- Carpooling: Highly recommended! With a strict 16-vehicle limit for the group sites, we will coordinate carpools with registered campers as the event gets closer.

👶 Family & Pet Rules
- Kids: Kids are completely welcome to join us for both the potluck and the camping!
- Dogs: Please, no dogs. Leave your pets at home for this specific group event.

- Shelter: Large group picnic pavilion with shade
- Cooking: Heavy-duty grills and multiple picnic tables
- Evening Vibe: Massive central campfire ring for the whole group
- Restrooms: Vault/pit toilets located short walking distance from camp
- Water: Drinking water spigots are available on-site
