This group is for anyone 50+ years young who is looking to get out & about and make new friends. Let's have some fun together!
We dine in (potluck). We dine out. We walk. We hike. We go to the theatre. We go to the movies. We attend local events. Those are just some examples. We try to be as diverse as we can. It's all based on attendance.
We welcome event ideas. If there is something that you would like to do and/or try, please send the group a message or send a private message to the Organizers. We will do our best to turn everyone's ideas into an event.

Concert - Songs of a Nation
Academy Center of the Arts, 600 Main St, Lynchburg, VA, USCelebrate 250 years of American music! From early patriotic anthems to musical theater! From gospel and spirituals to classical music by American composers! This choral performance will have a multitude of American musical flavors to satisfy every artistic taste! A true celebration of American music, we also celebrate the people and people groups who have made this country’s exceptional music. “American” music was composed and sung in the halls of great conservatories, on the streets of Broadway, on the trails which escaped slaves fled, around campfires, in churches grand and humble, in the garage where a rock band rehearsed, and in a small jazz club. Come celebrate the songs and people of this nation with a chorus of 130 fabulous local vocalists!
