Appomattox National Historical Trail Loop, Civil War Museum, Brewery & Mexican

So, I have been asked to do some historical hikes, so we will start off with Appomattox and work from there. There are a number of other historical hikes I am researching and looking into. I would like to make this into a series of hikes, and I am looking into getting some shirts done for anybody who does all of them with me. What the shirts will be, will be determined later. I am hoping to come up with a list prior to this hike.
We will start off with doing the Appomattox National Historical Trail Loop. This is an approximately 6 miles and takes you through several different sites, including the village, courthouse and other structures. Also, the fields where they have artillery still set up. This is more of a walk than a hike, so there are no steep inclines or difficult terrain. Just keep in mind the length.
From there, we can head over to the Civil War Museum. There is a $16 charge to get in ($13 for Vet & Active). The museum sits on one of the last battlefields of the Civil War. Just a mile and a half away, Robert E. Lee met with Ulysses S. Grant to discuss the terms of surrender. Visitors can explore over 400 artifacts, photographs, and documents, including the uniform and sword worn by General Robert E. Lee to the surrender. ACWM–Appomattox provides a unique insight into the American Civil War and its legacies.
After that, we can head over to the brewery there in town called "Loose Shoe Too" for a beer or two.
Then we can end the trip for dinner (Mexican) at a place called Taco Wagon.
The itinerary can be altered from the above list pending time frame, interest, food/hunger, etc., but I will do my best to keep to it.
We can meet at the Lowes parking lot in Bonsack behind the Applebee's for those interested in carpooling at 9:00.
