Poplar Forest Walk - All Welcome!

Come join us for a relaxing and scenic 3.5-mile round-trip walk along the beautiful gravel paths of Poplar Forest! We'll be meeting at 10 am on Saturday, August 30th at the parking lot just off Enterprise Drive. (For directions, ask Google for "Poplar Forest Walking Path Parking" or "Poplar Forest Visitor's Center"). Temperatures should be far more comfortable this weekend, with a forecast of 66° at 10 am and 72° at noon. This leisurely walk features gentle grades and lovely views. If you'd prefer a shorter walk, join us at the Poplar Forest Visitor Center at 11 am for a 1.75-mile one-way trip. After our walk, we'll enjoy lunch together at Neighbor's Place (104 Paulette Circle, Lynchburg, VA). We'll provide shuttle service back to the Visitor Center for those who joined us there. If the Poplar Forest Parking is full when you arrive, you can park at Neighbor's Place and walk to the starting point across Enterprise Drive.
