Blackwater Creek & Percival Island Trail Bike Ride

I did this ride a little earlier in the week and thought was good enough to offer it up to the group. I will be starting at the Linkhorne Dr. trailhead and riding to the end of Percival Island with a short sidetrack to the Hollins Dam along the Point of Honor Trail. Unfortunately, we will not be able to go to the Point of Honor house due to damage along the trail after the dam. We will then come back and pick up the Kemper Station trail. I did not do this trail last time, so would like to go check it out this time. This is an out & back trail and upon coming back, we will pick up the Blackwater Trail which will take us through the Hollins Mill Tunnel and to extension to Percival Island trail. Upon returning from the Percival Island trail, we will stop at one of the restaurants along the trail and grab a bite to eat and I will be getting a beer.

I'm thinking I will park at the Percival Island lot and ride to the Linkhorne Dr parking area and shuttle those who do not want to ride back to the Linkhorne parking area to get their cars. Especially after eating and drinking. So, I will meet whoever at the Linkhorne parking area at 12:00. I am hoping this will get us started before it gets really warm. According to Weather.com, its not supposed to hit 90 until 3:00.
