South Bay Machine Knitting Meetup Group, April 2025

Saturday April 19th, 2025, starting at 2pm.
At Maker Nexus, 1330 Orleans Dr, Sunnyvale, CA

Bring your knitting machine and some yarn if you can, or just show up and learn. A $5 cash donation is requested towards the Meetup fees. Not expected from guests or first-time attendees.

When you arrive, ring the bell and wait; try again if the attendant has stepped away and doesn't hear the first time. Tell them you're here for the machine knitting group, and sign in at the desk using your phone. If it's your first time visiting MakerNexus they have a one-time waiver form you'll need to fill in.

MakerNexus' Covid policy is now masks-recommended.

When you RSVP, please note it in your calendar so you'll remember to show up on the day. Or if your plans change, please come back and change your RSVP, to free up your slot for someone else.

2:00 Setup and socialize. Exact punctuality is not required.

2:15 Announcements, Show & Tell.

2:30 Basics demo as needed: Any of the beginner steps, such as cast-on/bind off; use of the hand tools; hand-manipulated ribbing; lace; cables.

3:00 Second demo: TBD

Free-form time; continue from the demos or whatever you want to work on.

5:00 Finish.
