George L. Smith State Park Paddle !

Come join us on this fall paddle as we explore thick stands of cypress and tupelo trees draped with Spanish moss. While on the water, nature enthusiasts can look for beaver dams, blue heron, white ibis and other wading birds. The park rents both kayaks and canoes, or guests may bring their own.

Please bring all essentials that you need for a fun day in the water including a lunch, hat, sunscreen, bug spray and what ever else you need . State park pass or 5 dollar park pass required . Life jackets must be properly worn during this event while in the water as Saftey is paramount . Hope to see you there !
