Sat. October 18th -Sun October 19th, 2025

Depart MollyHugger parking lot ( inside the park off Hwy 190) @ 11:00am .

Details : I have a backcountry permit for 7 people .

** If you attended Brian’s Backpacking Beginner Basics ** you will be short listed.

Others will need atleast 1 hike with Macon Outdoors and basic backpacking experience .

We will be hiking the
Big Poplar Loop 7.8 miles from the Molly Hugger Parking Lot .
The 1st night we will hike approx 3 miles to campsite ( this should be relatively easy ) .
You are responsible for carrying all the essentials necessary for an overnight .

**Water is readily available on this trail , however bring water filter and extra water for your own safety **
The pace for this hike will be set by the slowest hiker , so be realistic about your fitness level and ability to complete the hike .

You will need a Ga State Park pass or a daily pass /$ 5

* In addition you will pay Ali $7 for the campsite permit on the day of departure .
You must be 18 or older to attend this event .
