Follow us on Instagram @macs_socials
We run social events on weekends (and occasionally weekdays) to museums, art galleries and exhibitions in London, for those typically in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.
Sign up to any MACS event for free! There may be a cost for the ticket to the museum/exhibition/gallery etc, which you’ll need to purchase yourself.
We aim to host events at a mixture of free and paid venues, to give as many people as possible access to our socials.
There’s no membership fees or dues - MACS is free for everyone.
Members are very welcome to host events, just drop one of the Organisers a message and we can discuss.
Come along and see what MACS is all about 🩵🌟🧡

MACS Goes To… The Crypt Museum at All Hallows by the Tower 🪦
All Hallows by the Tower, Byward Street, London, 17, GBJoin MACS at the Crypt Museum on Sunday 16th August! 🪦✨
There’s only 10 places as agreed with the Parish Administrator Michael, as the museum is very, very small!
The museum leads you on a fascinating journey through time, charting the history of the church, its people and the City of London.
The Crypt Museum is in part of the original Saxon church and contains part of the Roman tessellated floor of a late 2nd Century domestic house, a collection of Roman and Saxon artefacts, church plate and ancient registers dating back to the 16th century.
There’s also a model of Talbot House, which recalls the work of the Rev'd 'Tubby' Clayton, former Vicar of All Hallows and founder of TocH.

Valence House Museum, 1 Becontree Avenue, Dagenham, London, GBJoin MACS at the FREE Valence House Museum on Saturday 22nd August! 🌳✨
Valence House is the only surviving manor house in Dagenham. It dates back to medieval times and is still partially surrounded by a moat.
Valence House Museum’s core collection totals around 20,000 objects, consisting of a wide range of artefacts which tell the story of Barking and Dagenham and its people throughout the ages. The collection spans a wide period of time, from prehistory to the modern day.
Highlights on display include the Dagenham Idol, whalebones believed to be from the lower jaw of a Common Greenland Whale and the Fanshawe family portraits, one of the best collections of gentry portraits in Britain.
