What we're about

We were really founded in 1984! The MacTechGroup has its roots in the old BCS and we just kept going. It's designed for Macintosh and iOS programmers, iPhone and iPad technical discussions. If you are writing Mac or iPhone code, or want to find out how, this is your group.

Conall McCabe will be doing a presentation entitled "Axes Of Evil Orientation, or, Murder On The Orientation Express", an examination of iOS/iPadOS device Core Location and Core Motion methods and properties, with a quick reference to watchOS devices, and how you use them to track movement and orientation. Good times!

The first half hour to hour, we have an open discussion session and "Bring out your code." For "Bring Out Your Code" session, members can bring in intractable bugs, and we'll help debug them as a group. We don't guarantee success, but our track record is very good. Our final hour is for the presentation. No dues, no fees, no costs.
