Designers Teaching Designers: A Trio of Curious Case Studies

Details
Look who's back!
For our first educational get together of 2025 we'll have two presenters joining us at the Central Library in beautiful downtown Madison. Let the rush of spring draw you out of doors and into our design salon.
First we'll have Soham Amin, a customer support representative at Epic, sharing about a project focused on improving internal processes - he'll share how he decided the problem was worth solving, working with stakeholders to prioritize the right features, and the principles for the design.
Next up will be Jim DeGoey, a local experience architect with a widely varied career. Jim will share two case studies with quite different outcomes. UX FAILURE: Consolidate 1,000+ policy documents from 20 offices into a single online repository for corporate HR department. UX SUCCESS (SORT OF): Consolidate functionality of 12 legacy applications into a “future vision" for major airline industry partner.
Come join us and learn from the experience of others. These tales from the trenches are sure to drive great discussion!
