Let’s create a supportive social group for lesbians/queer women who live in or near Madison within driving distance. My gratitude goes out to Zero, who started this group originally.
Our socials may be at women owned businesses, cafes, art events, queer DJ dances, outdoorsy activities, game related venues, and lesbian pop up bar (Madison edition). The L-pub provides a great opportunity to meet other professionals. If you have event ideas post a comment on our discussion board or send me a message on meetup.
This group is for building a local lesbian community. If your agenda is solely looking for a romantic partner, consider joining groups intended for that purpose. While organic relationships are encouraged, avoid harassing members for dating agenda.
Prior to joining consider the following 🌿🌿🌿
This group is for members who:
- want to have fun, share laughter, and seek quality social network
- are lesbians, bi, pan, queer women
- support diversity (race, ethnicity, age, culture, etc.)
- live in or near Madison WI
- have recognizable member photo
- respect personal boundaries
- bring good vibes and positive, supportive energy
- understand while event hosts create social opportunity, attendees share responsibility for supportive social experience
- understand event hosts are not liable for unsafe choices members make and by joining this group members take full responsibility for their own safety
This group is not for members who:
- are no shows, past no shows may not be able to attend future events, and may lose membership. Change RSVP prior to event start time if you are no longer able to attend.
- are inconsiderate or who disrespect personal boundaries
- do not respect venue/location regulations, by attending events you are agreeing to follow the venue/site rules
- are unicorn hunters or harass others. This group is for promoting safe and mutually supportive environment. Immediately report any harassment to Emily/organizer and meetup headquarters will be notified.
