Beginners game of ROOT

Hi there! While my friend and I have already played the game before, this will be something of a learn-to-play session for anyone who might be new to it. Considering that learning this game is like learning 4-5 different sets of rules in one (the overall game rules, plus rules for each of the four different factions) you could think of this as more of a "beginners" game. I find that learning works best by doing, so to learn the game--if there's anyone new---I'll kind of just talk through the different options and actions you have available with every turn. With that in mind, this will NOT begin with a lengthy tutorial, but instead we'll jump right into things and learn by doing.

If anyone is willing to learn the game in advance (or already knows it), I'm open to that as well. On that note, the game is available digitally via Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/965580/Root/ and goes on sale fairly regularly, so experiencing the game that way could be a good way to learn some rules in advance (it is quite a heavyweight!) In any event, since this is a game for four, I'll be capping the limit to that (including myself), though I suppose more could join in if looking to simply learn and not necessarily expecting to join in a game if we get one going. Also, as of now there's only room for two others to join in, as a friend of mine already plans to join in for this.
