Women's Haystacks Day Hike / Lake District
YHA Buttermere, Cockermouth,, United Kingdom, GBJoin Made Wild Adventures for a scenic and rewarding day hike up Haystacks, one of the Lake District’s most beloved fells and favourite of Alfred Wainwright.
This amazing route winds past tarns, rocky outcrops, and sweeping views, offering a mix of gentle paths and more rugged terrain. Perfect for those wanting a classic mountain day without huge mileage, Haystacks delivers stunning scenery, a touch of adventure, and a real sense of escape into the wild.
This is a guided group hike with a qualified mountain leader designed for anyone with a reasonable fitness base who wants to build confidence on the trails, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a day moving through stunning mountain landscapes at a relaxed pace.
We’ll take regular breaks, enjoy some good chat along the way, and finish the day feeling refreshed, accomplished, and maybe just a little bit muddy.

Women's Glencoe Hiking Weekend
Glencoe, Altnafeidh car park on the A82, GBJoin us for a true Scottish mountain weekend in the heart of Glencoe, based at one of the most legendary mountain huts in the UK.
This trip is all about jaw dropping mountains, dramatic scenery, and shared adventure, set in the famous and beautiful landscape of Glencoe. Expect challenging but achievable days, unforgettable views, and the unique experience of staying overnight at the iconic Lagangarbh Hut.

Arrive in the spectacular Glencoe and make your way to Lagangarbh Hut, where we’ll settle in, get to know each other, and prepare for the days ahead.
We’ll enjoy a shared, self-catered dinner and a chilled evening soaking up the unique atmosphere of the hut.Over the course of the weekend, we’ll head out for guided hikes in and around Glencoe, led by a professional mountain leader.
Routes will be chosen based on weather and group ability, with the aim of experiencing classic Glencoe terrain, steep glens and some of the most awe-inspiring mountain scenery in Scotland. Each evening, we’ll return to the hut to cook, eat, and unwind together, the perfect way to end a day in the hills. On the Saturday night we will head over to the famous hikers bar The Clachaig Inn for some drinks and live music.After our final breakfast, we’ll head out for one last shorter adventure before returning to the hut, packing up, and beginning the journey home.

## What’s not included
- Bedding. The hut is a traditional, and still in use mountaineering hut which means you have to bring a sleeping bag and may be sharing a room (with just two large bunks) with other members of the mountaineering councils & hut association. It's a truly authentic mountain experience - don't worry it does have a kitchen, toilets and a shower too!
- Breakfast, lunches and dinner - The hut has a kitchen and shelves & fridges for food storage.
- Travel to the accommodation. There is a bus stop at the Glencoe Ski Centre which I can organise a pick up from. The hut has plenty of free parking on the roadside.

Women's Welsh 3000s over 3 Days
Location not specified yetJoin an unforgettable 3-day mountain journey across the iconic Welsh 3000s, one of the UK’s most legendary high-level challenges.
This is an incredible opportunity to take on the classic Welsh 3000s challenge at an enjoyable pace. Over three days summit all 15 of the summits over 3000ft in Eryri National Park and take in incredible views and scrambles along the way.Dates: 14-17 Jun '26

Difficulty: Intermediate – ideal if you’ve done a few mountain hikes before and want to push yourself a little further

Price: £385pp### The Journey
#### Day 1: The Snowdon Massif
We’ll start big with Wales’ highest mountain, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), following the famous red ridge that links its three 3000ft peaks, Snowdon, Garnedd Ugain and Crib Goch. Expect incredible views, a few butterflies, and a massive sense of accomplishment by the end of day one.
- 12km | 1000m ascent | 6–7 hrs walking
- Stay: In our booked accommodation (tbc based on numbers)
#### Day 2: The Glyderau Ridge
A day of classic Eryri terrain: rocky summits, sweeping ridgelines and quiet mountain tarns. We’ll summit Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach and Tryfan, some of the most iconic peaks in Wales.
- 13km | 1200m ascent | 7–8 hrs walking
- Stay: Return to our accommodation (tbc based on numbers)
#### Day 3: The Carneddau
The final stretch takes us across the broad, wild Carneddau range, vast, open and peaceful. We’ll summit Pen yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn and Foel-fras before descending toward the coast at Abergwyngregyn.
- 20km | 1000m ascent | 7–9 hrs walking
- Return to our accom for our final night and no doubt a visit to the pub!

### Accommodation & Meals
We’ll base ourselves in a self catered hostel or bunkhouse type accommodation for the duration of the trip which means no packing up every day! You’ll have a cosy bed, hot showers, a shared kitchen, and a relaxed communal area for evening meals and debriefs.
