Beer and Politics - Harmony Bar and Lecture at A Room of Own's Own - Women 50+

Here's hoping alcohol and politics mix, because we'll start with a brew at the Harmony Bar, and follow it with a lecture on Nordic Socialism given by Pelle Dragsted, a member of the Danish parliament and the leader of the socialist political party Enhedslisten (Red-Green Alliance). We meet at 12:45pm at Harmony, chat a bit, and then walk 2 blocks to A Room of One's Own Bookstore, for the lecture that begins at 2pm. This talk is jointly sponsered with UW's Visiting Scholars program. You are encouraged to enjoy the wonderful selection of this bookstore. The event is FREE, but the beer isn't!

Neighborhood street parking is available. It's easier to arrive by bus, on the C line, at "Eastwood and Division" stop.
