Free Opera, St Andrews Church, German Summer Songs (sung in English) - Bring +1

Details
Featuring English translations from the original German for songs all describing summer days, by Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, and Strauss. This is an opportunity to meet other women age 50+ who may also enjoy opera (like your host). Opera on Tap is a group of talented singers who bring opera into a variety of venues, from brewpubs to churches.
Since this event starts at 7PM you are encouraged to bring a +1 friend or partner. This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Your host cannot hold seats in the church, but will do her best to work with others in the pews to seat us near each other. Cheryl will arrive there 20-25 minutes before its start. Cheryl will have a MEETUP sign with her. This is not an event where we can socialize much at all, but there should be an opportunity before and afterwards to introduce ourselves, and build connections with other opera lovers. Your host is no hurry to run off afterwards ;-)
The program uses song poems to describe a summer day and night, starting in the morning, strolling on a riverbank, a rain shower, twilight, night and the next morning. Singers include Ms. Eiler, Tenor George Abbott, Soprano Dr. Melanie Cain, Mezzo Soprano Kirstin Roble and Soprano Elsa Zank.
Donations to Opera on Tap would be welcomed.
