Future of the Fed - Lecture with former Federal Reserve President - Coffee After

Details

The Puelicher Center for Banking Education welcomes Loretta J. Mester, former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Mester will share insights on the forces shaping interest rates, financial markets, and the economy. This event is for women age 50+ PLUS their friends, spouses or partners. Arriving by Madison bus is recommended, as parking in ramps is challenging on the campus. If driving, give yourself plenty of time. This event is free. Cheryl will have a MEETUP SIGN that she will be waving until the lecture starts.

This is part of the UW Lecture series and the event listing is here. If anyone is interested afterwards, we can go to Starbucks afterwards (which is 3 blocks away at 661 State St), the only one open at that time of day.

Your host thinks this should be particularly interesting in a time of intense focus on interest rates, effects of tariffs, bonds within a retirement portfolio, servicing the national debt, hirings and firings in the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and so forth.
