Chicken Art at Sequoya Library, Coffee Break, Walk the Bike Path (Women 50+)

Since late 2022, artist Mary Mullen has been making her own paper flock of chickens using the colored part of address labels that come incessantly through the mail. These hens, roosters, pullets and chicks speak in shades, textures, breeds, and postures bright and varied as seen in the real thing. Let's view the gallery, go next door to EVP Coffee for refreshment, and - for those willing - take a 1.8 miles walk along the Southwest Commuter trail, which should be blooming with Spring flowers. We will walk from EVP coffee through the neighborhood to the Glenway intersection, walk down to Odana Street and return to the coffee shop.
