Summer Solstice Celebration 2025

Hello everyone,
Please join us for our Summer Solstice Celebration on Sunday, June 22, 4pm-9:45pm at Olbrich Park by Lake Monona near the sledding hill. Please bring your own instrument and a chair. FYI the drum circle will begin around 8:15. Please check the schedule below.

Schedule:
4:00 canoe rides begin on Starkweather; mask making at the kin and earthly creatures tent

5:15 council where creatures speak about their desires and needs

5:30 Ambrosia Affair harp and violin play

6:00 Front Porch Ukelele band

6:45 Onadare Celtic Band ending with singing the Starkweather Creek Anthem

7:30 Parade of Species with Elmore and chosen drummers march Olbrich to where fire will be

8:15 Welcome with “Talking Mike”

8:30 Light the Fire and then drumming begins and when burns down wishes thrown in fire

9:30-9:45 Fire embers doused and cleared away and drumming stops
