This may be THE MOST VALUABLE EXERCISE you can do. The value of high-intensity intervals is exponentially greater than all forms of 'moderate' exercise. It prevents dementia, burns fat, creates butt muscles, and increases longevity better than anything else. And it is a great opportunity to be social, because most of the time is spent recovering together as we slowly walk down the hill.

What does this exercise look like? We walk up the hill slowly a couple of times to warm up. Then gradually get a bit faster. Sometimes I max out at doing a fast walk up half the hill before I'm too breathless to continue, and I stop and rest for a minute.

You can do this. We will be together as a group 90% of the time, no matter how diverse the fitness levels.

Bring your dogs! Bring the kids.

I used to be a certified personal trainer and I had ALL my clients do this, as it was so doable and effective.
