June Project Showcase

Please join us for our monthly Madison Indie Filmmakers showcase event Wednesday June 26th at 6 PM in room 301 at the Madison Main Library downtown.

This month we have invited Natalie Pohorski from Film Wisconsin to talk about the organization and what some of their plans are for the future.

HERE IS A SHORT BIO OF NATALIE:
Natalie is an independent film producer based in Madison, WI and has recently taken on the position of Managing Director for Film Wisconsin. She is originally from Madison, though she went to film school and started her career in Los Angeles. After working for a large studio for a few years, she decided she wanted to move back to Wisconsin and start making her own projects.

In recent years she has worked as an Adjunct Instructor for the film program at Madison Media Institute, she was a producer for the Epic Creative agency near Milwaukee, and was the Director of Production for Creative Kingdoms, an interactive game company based in Madison. She has produced over 15 short films, 2 television series, and 3 feature films and this year is launching a new 48-hour, horror film festival.

Natalie will be speaking about the history of Film Wisconsin and her vision for it moving forward, as well as the initiatives she is working on that could use your help!
