Marshall Park -- "The Age of Innocence" book discussion

Details
Please join us at Marshall Park (2101 Allen Blvd., Madison WI) for a discussion of Edith Wharton’s 1920 novel “The Age of Innocence.” This Pulitzer-Prize-winning novel is set in upper-crust New York society during the “Gilded Age” of the late 1800s. In the 1990s, the book inspired an Academy-Award-winning film adaptation starring Winona Ryder. (Our discussion will focus on the book, not the movie.)
We will be meeting at the outdoor park shelter by the lakeside. Pizza will be provided. Feel free to bring a dish to pass, a dessert, or something to drink. Note that glass bottles or glass containers are prohibited by park rules. The park shelter is covered, so we will be meeting rain or shine.
(The photo is from the 1993 movie adaptation of "The Age of Innocence.")
