Exploring the Intersection of Psychedelics & Mortality
Sunday November 5th, 1-4pm
Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center
504 S Brearly St · Madison, WI
$5-20 suggested donation

Join us for a lively exploration of the intersection of mortality and psychedelics.

Megan Miller will be offering a short presentation to introduce some context related to Indigenous culture and practice, to share recent research with psilocybin-assisted therapy for people with cancer, and to highlight studies of DMT and near death experiences.

This will be followed by a lightly facilitated group conversation discussing mortality, death, grief, and the ways these intertwine with psychedelic experiences. Have expanded states of consciousness changed your views about your own mortality? What can we learn from mushrooms about cycles of death, decomposition, and regeneration? Have you ever had a near death experience? How could non-ordinary states of consciousness help us face grief?… We look forward to exploring these topics together!

We request a $5- 20 donation to cover facility rental cost via cash or Venmo @DayHJ co MPS.
