New Year Connection at Rooted In Sanity Kava Lounge!

Welcome to the new year! The year is still young, yet it's clear connected community is as important as ever.

You are invited to join us in creating connection and community at the Rooted In Sanity Kava Lounge. We welcome you to share conversation, make friends, play games, have a fun beverage and generally have fun!

While the event is listed to start at 7pm and end at 9pm, the lounge is open 4pm-11pm. You are welcome to come when you can, and leave when you want! Arriving "late" and leaving "early" is encouraged. The event times simply represent the times MPS organizers will be at the lounge.

Rooted In Sanity sells both psychoactive and non-psychoactive drinks of varying kinds. We welcome you to enjoy either depending on your preference, but please don't bring your own.

What is Kava?
Kava kava (Piper methysticum) is a Polynesian-originating herb grown for the medicinal and gently psychoactive qualities of its roots, which is traditionally chewed fresh as a sacrament, but is also dried and brewed into a bitter, earthy tea.
