Morning miles at Owen Conservation Park [**Travel Thursday**]

While MTR normally meets at the Arb on Thursday mornings, one Thursday per month (usually the last) is a traveling location. For our August traveling event, we will head out to the westside of Madison.
We will meet in the main parking lot at Owen Conservation Park, just off Old Sauk Road. In late August, there may be hot running conditions, so prepare your gear and footwear accordingly. The sunrise will be at 6:15 am, so you could bring a headlamp if you'd like.
We will run for about 60 minutes total, with the pace around 9:00-9:30 min/mile. If there is enough interest, we will split into pace groups with at least one group going at a pace of 10-11min/mile. Otherwise, we will default to the pace listed above.
The planned route will include some lööps through Owen Park and the neighboring Crestwood trails. You are welcome to head back to the parking lot earlier at any point of the run you wish if you're looking for a shorter outing on the trails.
