I am running into retirement after an ultra (31-year) teaching career. Help me celebrate with an 1ish-hour run (5-6 miles) followed by a 3ish-hour ecological restoration work party in the beloved UW-Arboretum. In between the run & restoration, I'll have some coffee and bagels to share.

We will meet at the UW-Arboretum Visitor Center for 7:30am run, have coffee and bagels around 8:30am, and head to the Grady Tract at 9:00am.

Our noble restoration work party will help nurture the ecology habitat that surrounds the wonderful trails of the south arboretum. Friendly UW-Arboretum staff provide all the equipment and hands-on training needed.

Bring along a water bottle, long pants, sturdy shoes, work gloves, and seasonally appropriate clothing for the restoration work.

For my long-time MTR friends, I have some other fun things planned for my retirement weekend and you can DM me for details.
