Concerts on the Square is back on the square!

Join us for the first session of the season, "Motown with Spectrum". We'll set out blankets ahead of time to secure seating; just bring yourself, a snack, a drink (alcoholic is allowed, for those so inclined), and your friends / partners / coworkers / children!

All genders are welcome ❤️

ABOUT

During Concerts on the Square, the Capitol lawn is taken over by picnicking Madisonians, serenaded by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. It was founded in 1984, and now, more than 200,000 patrons come together annually over the free six-concert series.

HOW TO FIND US

If you walk to Candinas Chocolatier, and then cross the street to the Capitol lawn, you should run right into us (see map image below 🤓 the "Attendees" section).

While the concert goes until 9pm, it's very much a come-and-go affair; feel free to leave early or arrive late.

ACCESSIBILITY / INCLUSION

All genders and children are welcome at this event. Seating is on blankets on the grass, but folks are welcome to bring short lawn chairs: "Only low-height chairs (6" or less) with tubular, U-shaped legs may be used on the Capitol lawn."

If you have a specific accessibility concern, we encourage you to reach out directly at admin@madisonwomen.tech.

CODE OF CONDUCT

While this event is open to all genders, Madison Women in Tech deliberately curates spaces for and by women and nonbinary folks. Men who attend are expected to listen, and not center themselves or their experiences.
