We're excited to partner with Google Women Engineers - Madison, WI for this presentation, which will be hosted at the Madison Google office on East Washington Avenue!

Per the company's security policies, all attendees must provide a copy of their ID and proof of vaccination - in advance - to admin@madisonwomen.tech in order to attend. RSVPs will close on March 21st at 5:30pm.

Light snacks will be provided. Because space is limited, this event is specifically for women and nonbinary folks. Thanks for understanding!

ABOUT

WiT member and Google artificial intelligence consultant Milica Cvetkovic will be giving an interactive presentation on machine learning (ML) and education, addressing topics like the following:

  • Getting Started: Do you need to be a math genius? Do you need a ton of coding experience?
  • Education Options: Bootcamps vs. university degrees
  • Applying ML: Looking at academic research settings, as well as how non-technical stakeholders and business owners use ML

SCHEDULE

Feel free to arrive anytime between 5:30 pm and 6pm; presentation will begin at 6pm.

TRANSPORTATION

The Madison Google office is located on the near east side of town in the Gebhardt Building. There is street parking, and the closest garage is the South Livingston Street Garage.

The following bus lines come within a few blocks:
4, 6, 7, 15, 23
