What we’re about
Madison Outdoor Yoga is 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to making yoga accessible to all. Our group is for yoga enthusiasts or yoga beginners that want to take their practice outside. We practice in parks in and around Madison, WI, but we are open to any location that will have us. The classes are free and so is membership to this group. The only requirement is an open mind and an affinity for trying new things. All skill levels are welcome to join! I look forward to exploring our yoga outdoors this summer!
Donations can be accepted via PayPal at madisonoutdooryoga.com, but each teacher collects their own donations for classes.
Check out our FB page for updates and inspiring stuff!! See you outside!

See all- Lunney Lake Farm Park Outdoor YogaLunney Lake County Farm Park, Madison , WI
Taught by Bruce Kiefaber
This Meetup will be at William Lunney Lake Farm Park pavilion. The pavilion is a short walk from the parking lot at Lussier Family Heritage Center, right next to the Capital City Bike trail.
In this class we will feel movement by combining the alignment and awareness of yoga with the creativity and flow of dance.
Our movements will be slow, smooth and gentle. Our metronome will be our breath.
We will ask ourselves “how does this movement feel in my body?”
Yes it's kind of out of the way but we have a wonderful translucent solar roof to keep the rain off, a beautiful, quiet view out over the meadow and we have a wonderful slab to move slowly and smoothly across.
I look forward to seeing you Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. Bring a mat.
There is a general waiver to practice so please either fill one out ahead of time or come early enough to fill one out before class. The teacher will usually try to arrive 15 mins early.
Waiver can be viewed here: https://mailchi.mp/2c6956dd94ef/madison-outdoor-yoga-waiver
A donation of $2- 10 per class is suggested. Both virtual and cash payments can be accepted. Funds collected go into funding our free classes and bringing more free yoga to our community. See below for donation information for this class. If it is necessary to cancel class, we will cancel at least an hour before class. Hope to see you all there!
