Bird Watching at Fresno de Torote

Details

This is a trip designed to see some of the 'Specialities' of the Madrid region - Spanish Eagle, Black Vulture and Great Bustard (Avutarda). There should be lots more, though, especially birds of prey!

We will meet at 8:30am at the "Ermita de la Virgen del Espino" - a small church between Daganzo de Arriba and Fresno de Torote. Here there is plenty of parking. This trip is difficult by public transport so we will try to offer lifts as a group. I can take 4 people from Barajas (contact me 638135998).

The walk should last about 2 - 3 hours and will be on easy terrain. Still, as always, bring some comfortable shoes and water.

I will bring a telescope to allow crystal clear views for all, and, as previously, guiding is done in English and Spanish.

There is a voluntary 5 Euro contribution to cover MeetUp costs. See you there! Let me know any questions on 638135998.
