Bird Watching in Casa de Campo

Our February trip is a bit closer to home in this iconic park near the centre of Madrid. We will start and finish at the Casa de Campo Lake where there should be hundreds of Gulls of different species. From there, we will explore the parkland and woodland, looking out for iconic species like Goshawk, Little Owl and different Woodpeckers.

Hopefully the weather will be sunny and we can enjoy a great walk. Bring sturdy shoes, binoculars and warm clothes. I will take the telescope and some bird guides to help us all identify the different species.

The meeting point is by the lake next to the "Cafe del Lago". This trip is easily accessible on public transport (Lago Metro Station).
