Discover the Magic of Night Hiking in Manzanares El Real.
Join us for a special night hiking trip in Manzanares El Real, located in the beautiful Sierra de Guadarrama mountains. As the sun goes down and the stars appear, you will enjoy a peaceful and unique experience in nature.
The hike takes place in La Pedriza, a well-known area for its amazing rock formations and natural beauty. The first part of the trail is not too difficult, with some small climbs and descents. However, the way back will be a bit more challenging, with many rocks along the path. Some parts may be steep and slippery. The trail includes both wide paths and narrow walking tracks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hike Information and Technical Details:

> ⚠️ This hike is recommended for people with some hiking experience and good physical condition. It is not suitable for beginners or those looking for a very easy walk.

• Difficulty: Medium
  (The return path includes walking over large and small rocks for about 30 minutes. Please come prepared with proper footwear and a good level of fitness.)
• Hike Type: Circular route (loop)
• Rest: Once we reach the highest point, we will take a break of 3 to 4 hours for rest or sleep, depending on the group’s mood and energy.
• Maximum Altitude: 1,330 meters
• Minimum Altitude: 900 meters

By Bus:
We will be traveling by public bus. Please meet us at Intercambiador de Plaza de Castilla (the underground bus station at Plaza de Castilla) at 21:20 (9:20 PM), for departure at 21:30 (9:30 PM).

• Meeting point: Level -3 (Flor -3)
• Bus to: Manzanares El Real
• Bus number: 724
• Platform/Dock: 26

Ticket Information:

• One-way ticket: €4.20, paid directly to the bus driver
• Important: The bus does not accept card payments. Please bring cash, preferably small bills (€5 or €10)
• If you have the Abono Joven travel card, the trip is free.

By Private Car:
If you are arriving by private car, please wait for the group in front of the DIA supermarket, which is located next to our bus stop in Manzanares El Real. This will be our meeting point for those not traveling by bus.

🧴 Essentials:

• Water (at least 1.5L): Make sure to bring enough water or drinks to stay hydrated.
• Snacks or light food for the hike and rest break.

• A torch or headlamp (required for night hiking).
• Long trousers and a long-sleeve shirt for protection against mosquitoes and brush.

3. Respect the Guide & Group

All hiking events are led by experienced guides who manage the pace, breaks, and safety.
The guide reserves the right to remove any participant from the group in case of misbehavior, disrespectful attitude, or negative conduct toward others.
4. Public Transport Friendly

All our events are accessible by public transportation from Madrid for your convenience.
