About this session:
We all know event planning takes a lot of effort: having an idea, find the right topic, secure the venue, promote, coordinate attendees and being scared that after all of this organization and time-consuming process nobody will come. Have you ever felt that way? In this mastermind, we will dive more deeply into tips and tricks and focus on how to plan safe taking into consideration the risks and benefits of running events.
Laura is the founder of Jump Into Freedom, a global community encouraging women expats to live abroad and find her tribe in a home away from home. After 2 years of running events for other companies, she jumped into organizing events by herself for her community looking to create meaningful meetups to grow, learn and connect with one another. With all these experiences, she has an idea of what to do and what not to do regarding event planning either for big or small events and she is willing to share mistakes and small wins that she experienced along the way.
The session will start with a presentation of Plázida for newcomers, we'll do a little review of the issues we've been dealing with and our progress. Laura will introduce the topic and facilitate the discussion.
In the end, someone from the group will volunteer to lead the next session.
During the gathering will offer you a vegan snack.
