This is a group for all genders, sexualities, and all levels of queerness to get together and meetup and make new friends! No matter if you are queer, gay, lesbian, bisexual, gender-nonconforming, or just want to explore that little bit of queerness that most of us have inside of us you will be very welcome here!
Our main languages are English and Spanish but all people are welcome!
We will be hosting language exchange style meetups once a week on Thursdays from 19:30 in Maniqui Bar. So hope to see you all there!

A hilarious, and unapologetically open minded pub quiz night! Expect outrageous queer themed questions, hilarious facts, spicy rounds, and lots of alcohol fuelled madness. We are not your boring sit down and be serious type of quiz!
Door open at 20:00 and quiz starts at 20:30 SHARP, so be punctual!

Something Sapphic at Maniquí
Come for the workshop. Stay for the people.For our first edition on October 20th: Sesbian Lex, a playful, shame-free workshop on sapphic sex, pleasure & intimacy with Andrea Riosexo.
Something Sapphic is a new monthly gathering for Madrid’s sapphic community at Maniquí.
It’s not quite a workshop series, and it’s not just another meetup. Each month, we’ll start with something to do, learn, make, talk about or explore together: connection, creativity, relationships, queer culture, sex, art, movement, or whatever else our community wants to get curious about.
The idea is simple: give us something to connect over, take some of the awkwardness out of walking into a room of strangers, and create space for new friendships and community. This is not a dating event (though sparks of all kinds are welcome).
7:00–9 PM | Something Sapphic
For sapphic women, trans and nonbinary people, and anyone who feels at home under the sapphic umbrella. Come alone, bring a friend, come very queer, come questioning. There’s no one way to belong here.
From 9 PM | Queer bar night
After the session, Maniquí opens to the broader queer community. Stick around for drinks, conversation and whatever the night becomes.
This is a trans-inclusive, consent-forward, no-assumptions space. We want it to feel welcoming whether you’ve been out for 20 years or are walking into a sapphic space for the first time.
Free to attend. Please grab a drink (alcoholic or not!) if you can to support Maniquí and help us keep these gatherings going.

## Something Sapphic en Maniquí
Ven por el taller. Quédate por la gente.
Something Sapphic es un nuevo encuentro mensual para la comunidad sáfica de Madrid en Maniquí.
No es exactamente una serie de talleres, pero tampoco es simplemente otro meetup. Cada mes empezaremos con algo que hacer, aprender, crear, hablar o explorar juntes: conexión, creatividad, relaciones, cultura queer, sexo, arte, movimiento o cualquier otra cosa que despierte la curiosidad de nuestra comunidad.
La idea es sencilla: tener algo sobre lo que conectar, quitar un poco de la incomodidad de entrar en una sala llena de desconocides y crear un espacio para nuevas amistades y comunidad. No es un evento de citas (aunque todo tipo de chispas son bienvenidas).
19:00–21:00 | Something Sapphic
Para mujeres sáficas, personas trans y no binarias, y cualquiera que se sienta parte del paraguas sáfico. Ven sole, trae a une amigue, ven súper queer o ven si todavía estás explorando o cuestionándote. No hay una única forma de pertenecer aquí.
Desde las 21:00 | Noche de bar queer
Después de la sesión, Maniquí se abre a toda la comunidad queer. Quédate a tomar algo, charlar y ver en qué acaba convirtiéndose la noche.
Este es un espacio trans-inclusivo, centrado en el consentimiento y sin asumir nada sobre nadie. Queremos que resulte acogedor tanto si llevas 20 años fuera del armario como si es la primera vez que entras en un espacio sáfico.
La entrada es gratuita. Si puedes, por favor pide una bebida (con o sin alcohol) para apoyar a Maniquí y ayudarnos a seguir organizando estos encuentros.
