🇪🇸 Nos reuniremos en el ⛲️ Refugio Climático del Reina Sofía (MNCARS) a las 17:40.

⛲️Este verano, durante las horas de apertura, el Museo te invita a refugiarte de las altas temperaturas y poder descansar en el Jardín, una zona del Claustro del Edificio Sabatini y en el espacio "Alhacena".

Diseñada por Jorge Penadés en 2026, Alhacena nace para responder a esas preguntas. Inspirada en la cocina como corazón de la vida doméstica –un lugar donde convivir, aprender, trabajar o compartir–, esta sala introduce por primera vez una dimensión doméstica dentro del recorrido de la Colección. Arte Contemporáneo: 1975 - Presente del Museo Reina Sofía y ofrece un espacio para detenerse, conversar o habitar el museo de otra manera.

La entrada a los espacios del refugio climático es gratuita. El museo es gratuito a partir de las siete.
Gratuita hasta completar aforo. Puedes retirar tu entrada de acceso al Jardín/Alhacena en taquillas

No es necesario tener experiencia previa en dibujo; todos los niveles son bienvenidos. Siéntase libre de traer sus materiales artísticos preferidos, como bolígrafos o acuarelas. Para los principiantes, un cuaderno de bocetos, lápices, una goma de borrar y/o bolígrafos serán perfectos.

Después de dos horas de dibujo, sobre las 20:00, iremos a tomar algo de forma opcional.

⛲️ This summer, during opening hours, the Museum invites you to take refuge from the high temperatures and relax in the Garden and an area and the Cloister of the Sabatini Building or in "Alhacena".

Designed by Jorge Penadés in 2026, Alhacena (Pantry) comes into being in response to these questions. Inspired by the kitchen as the heart of domestic life — a place to come together, learn, work and share — this room introduces, for the first time, a domestic facet into the exhibition route of the Museo Reina Sofía’s Collection. Contemporary Art: 1975–Present, offering a space in which to stop, converse and inhabit the museum differently.

Admission
Entry to the climate refuge facilities is free. Admission to the museum is free from 7 o’clock.
Free until full capacity is reached. You can pick up your ticket to access the Garden at the ticket office.

No prior drawing experience is necessary; all skill levels are welcome. Feel free to bring your preferred art materials, such as pens or watercolors. For beginners, a sketchbook, pencils, an eraser, and/or pens will be perfect.

After two hours drawing at around 20:00, we'll have an optional gathering nearby, where we can connect and enjoy a drink together in a relaxed atmosphere.
