What is Very Private Gallery
We've been an independent art blog with a YouTube channel since 2015, and today we form a small but vibrant community of artists and art professionals. Our goal is to offer realistic advice on the art business; and transcend the noise of self-proclaimed art experts to move beyond mere wishful thinking, providing relevant and sometimes unique perspectives. We're entirely self-funded through donations, ensuring the neutrality of our content.
✓ Who: Painters, sculptors, digital artists, designers, printmakers, craftsmen, photographers, art historians, and creative entrepreneurs. This Meetup group is for all creative professionals and enthusiasts who have a passion for art. You are all welcome to join us for a good time!
✓ Why: We enjoy meeting new people and learning from each other. No matter if you are planning to embark on this journey or have worked in the art business for years, we could all share our stories and have fun!
✓ When: We meet fortnightly, usually on the weekends. We might have some extra meetings during art fairs.
✓ Where: We meet at all kinds of art & cultural venues. Art gallery crawls in the city centre, cultural events, museums, parks, and artist studios.
✓ What: We meet, talk, and sip a glass of wine/coffee/tea. We also plan to host workshops that help artists improve their art business or career.

¿Cómo crear una web útil para tu arte? ¿Qué puede aportar la IA a tu práctica artística? ¿Cómo llegar a compradores, utilizar las redes sociales o dejar espacio para la creatividad?
Te invitamos a conversar sobre los aspectos prácticos y reflexivos de trabajar en el mundo del arte.Cada encuentro se centra en un tema que ya hemos trabajado en profundidad. Compartimos lo que hemos aprendido, comentamos ejemplos y abrimos la conversación a tus preguntas y experiencias.
Aunque el contenido sea serio, el ambiente será informal y acogedor. Habrá espacio para hacer preguntas básicas, compartir una dificultad, discrepar o simplemente escuchar y conocer gente.
Como seremos un grupo pequeño (máximo 10 personas), puedes traer tu portátil para abordar aspectos técnicos si hay tiempo.Habrá bebidas (sidra natural asturiana y zumo de fruta). Si te apetece, puedes colaborar aportando algo para beber. Como trabajaremos con ordenadores, no habrá comida ni se permitirá comer.
Organizadas por Very Private Gallery, una asociación sin ánimo de lucro centrada en el arte y la expresión visual, estas charlas ponen nuestras investigaciones en diálogo con personas del sector. También nos ayudan a mantener nuestros conocimientos teóricos al día mediante las experiencias compartidas y el debate.
Queremos crear una comunidad local en Madrid donde artistas, galeristas y otros profesionales del arte puedan intercambiar conocimientos, desarrollar ideas y conocerse.¡Te esperamos!
