[ROUNDTABLE] : Using an Agile Financial Divorce Team for Optimal Client Support

Founding Farmers King of Prussia

$25.00

OUR ROUNDTABLE TALK:

An agile divorce team is a cross-functional group of professionals with a common goal who are flexible in the way they work and adapt to changing client needs. Being agile is essential to a healthy divorce process for our clients—and can build your practice.

Christine Hennigan, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), will discuss her role in assisting divorcing clients through a process that has helped her build a successful divorce financial analyst practice over the past 20 years.

Christine will lead an engaging discussion that will include the following topics:

  • How a neutral financial professional can assist couples involved in mediation for divorce and highlight her approach.
  • Determine who are the most appropriate clients who can benefit most from this approach.
  • Decide how and when is the best time for the intervention of a CDFA in a mediated divorce.
  • Why divorce specializations, financial certifications & designations can make a difference in serving the divorce mediation client
  • Key issues that burn in a client’s mind that you may not have considered
  • How to frame the concept of a financial “divorce team” to the client without sounding expensive.
  • How to stay flexible in the way you work to adapt to changing client needs.

She will also highlight her approach in working with a divorce mediator to set up clients for longer-term financial security in the road ahead after divorce.

ABOUT CHRISTINE:

As principal of Divorce Wealth Strategies, LLC, Christine Palmer Hennigan frequently works with attorneys and mediators as well as their clients to navigate the complex financial aspects of the divorce process, including help in determining the short and long-term financial impact of proposed divorce settlements. She has been a recurring speaker for the Family Law Section of the Chester County Bar and has sat on the past boards of the Women's Referral Network of Chester County.

In addition to her role as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) with 1847Financial, an agency of the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, Christine has worked as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) for 23 years, affording her the ability to be in the room with the attorneys during divorce proceedings.
