This meetup page is intended to offer a taste of all that MOAC has to offer. The most current list of activities can be found at our official home at www.moac.org
MOAC, founded in 1989, is an all-volunteer member organization. Members organize and lead all trips and activities from beginner to expert. Our outdoor activities range from peaceful and relaxing to challenging and full of excitement. From the extremes of winter camping, ice/rock climbing, strenuous hiking, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, to the gentle sail, walk or snowshoe, MOAC has something to offer everyone. We are a diverse group with members of all ages and experience.
Join MOAC to challenge yourself, share your outdoor skills and meet other outdoor adventurers!! Individual Memberships are $25 Annually, Family Memberships are $35 and includes a "Significant Other" and children living at home. Please see our website at www.moac.org and click on "Join/Renew Today"
Becoming a full dues paying member will allow you to view trip and event details on the official MOAC activity calendar that are denoted as "for members only" on www.moac.org

### 50th Anniversary Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour
Big mountains. Bold adventures. Jaw-dropping films. The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is back! This year is extra special as the festival celebrates its 50th Anniversary worldwide – 26th right here in Portland!
Expect a curated collection of the year’s best adventure, exploration, and mountain culture films. From heart-pounding climbs and deep-snow descents to remote journeys and human-powered feats, these stories celebrate the outdoor spirit that defines our community.

This isn’t just a movie night – it’s a major social event for the Maine outdoor community. Please note that MOAC will have a table in the lobby. Stop by and say Hi! Meet fellow members, learn about upcoming trips, or introduce a friend to the club.

- Friday, Feb 6: Icefall Program (featuring “The Finisher: Jasmin Paris and the Barkley Marathons”)
- Saturday, Feb 7: Moraine Program (featuring “Cold Calls – Japan”)
