From the extremes of winter camping, ice/rock climbing, strenuous hiking, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, to the gentle sail, walk or snowshoe, MOAC has something to offer everyone. We are a diverse group with members of all ages and experience.
Join MOAC to challenge yourself, share your outdoor skills and meet other outdoor adventurers!! Individual Memberships are $25 Annually, Family Memberships are $35 and includes a "Significant Other" and children living at home. Please see our website at www.moac.org and click on "Join/Renew Today"

See all- MOAC MONTHLY MEETING – Bill Yeo's Wild AfricaNeeds location
MOAC meetings are always free and open to the public.
We’ll be presenting the travelogue “Wild Africa”, by Bill Yeo, from L.L. Bean. This is a half-hour film we showed two years ago, when all of our meetings were only on Zoom. We thought it was worth watching again. According to the film’s description, it takes “an up-close look at some of Africa’s most amazing animals, including the first steps of a new-born Wildebeest, tree climbing lions and the hilarious and remarkable courting dance of the saddle-billed stork”.
Also, MOAC President Marty Williams became the cook on the recent Allagash canoe trip. She will talk briefly about food management on a multi-day event without refrigeration.

In addition to the featured presentations, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings, hear about upcoming outings, and socialize with other MOACers. It’s also a chance for new or prospective members to ask questions. Meeting begins at 7:00, but come at 6:30 to socialize and meet people.
Location: the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church, 524 Allen Avenue, Portland (near Northgate Shopping Plaza). Here’s a Google Map link.
