🏰 Hadleigh Castle:
Built around 1215 by Hubert de Burgh and later extensively fortified by Edward III during the Hundred Years’ War, Hadleigh Castle became a favourite royal residence. Today, its romantic ruins and striking towers overlook the Essex marshes, offering breathtaking views and a fascinating glimpse into England’s past.
