Maison Akoma is a community for women who want to connect, grow, and feel more at home within themselves.
We create meaningful gatherings in and around Arnhem for women who are looking for deeper conversations, genuine connection, personal growth, and a space where they can simply be themselves.
Through workshops, intimate events, conversations and shared experiences, we explore themes such as confidence, identity, visibility, self-worth, relationships and becoming the woman you truly want to be.
Come as you are. Meet inspiring women, have real conversations, learn something about yourself, and leave feeling a little more connected, grounded and seen.
International women, expats and locals are all welcome. Events are held in English.

The Art of Being Seen
stadsvilla sonsbeek, tellegenlaan 3, Arnhem, NLThe Art of Being Seen is an intimate workshop for women who want to feel more confident, visible and fully themselves, without feeling like they have to perform, prove or change who they are to belong.
Together, we will explore the difference between being truly seen vs simply seeking validation, how we sometimes make ourselves smaller to feel accepted, and what it means to take up space without betraying yourself.
Through guided reflection, meaningful conversations and practical exercises, you will have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself while meeting other women in a warm and welcoming environment.
You will leave with a deeper understanding of your own patterns, more clarity around how you want to show up in your life, and practical insights to help you feel more grounded and confident in your relationships, work and everyday life.
After the workshop, we will also have time to connect, talk and enjoy the space together with a circle / gathering at Sonsbeek.
This event is for you if you are looking for a deeper connection, personal growth, meaningful conversations and a space where you don’t have to pretend.
