Come out for an easygoing walk across Golden Gate Park, starting at the William McKinley Monument and heading west all the way to Ocean Beach. This is a relaxed, social walk where the focus is enjoying the scenery, getting some fresh air, and connecting with others along the way.
We’ll move at a comfortable pace and take breaks as needed while passing through some of the park’s most well-known and scenic areas, including gardens, lakes, open fields, and wooded paths. Highlights along the route may include the Conservatory of Flowers, Music Concourse, Stow Lake, the Japanese Tea Garden area, Spreckels Lake, the bison enclosure, and the Dutch Windmill near the coast.
We’ll wait until about 10:15 AM before heading out to allow for late arrivals. The full walk is longer but manageable, with plenty of natural pauses built in.
We’ll finish near Ocean Beach, where anyone who wants to stay and hang out is welcome.
Great for anyone who enjoys walking, exploring the outdoors, and meeting new people.
Feel free to reach out with any questions!
