MEMBERS ONLY: 3D Printing Orientation: Biqu B1

This event is for Full MAKE Roanoke Members ONLY. You must have completed the registration and General Orientation Find out more about MAKE Roanoke Membership here.

Trainings are expected to last about an hour and will start at the top of each hour. Please comment the time you will arrive so we can group people accordingly, we can only train 5 people at a time. The last orientation will start at 3:00 PM.

Attendees should bring a laptop with Orcaslicer already installed. It's free with no account needed. You can download it at https://orcaslicer.com/

This orientation includes the 3D Printing Lab Orientation. Completing this orientation will get you access to the Biqu B1 Filament Printer. Note: the training is purely for operating the 3D printer, and will not cover the creation or design of 3D objects

Please note that MAKE Roanoke is an active workshop:

• All participants must have a signed waiver on file. If the participant is a minor, the wavier must be signed by a parent or court-appointed legal guardian.
• Closed toed shoes are required in the space at all times by everyone, regardless of age or participation in an event. No sandals, crocs, or bare feet.
• You may be asked to remove or tuck in dangling jewelry, lanyards, etc for safety.
• Depending on the activity, other dress code rules may apply.
