Come learn how to embroidery by hand at MAKE Roanoke with this intro to Hand Embroidery class!
Students will learn 5 basic embroidery stitches and combine them into a floral motif:
- Running Stitch
- Back Stitch
- French Knot
- Lazy Daisy
- Pinwheel Rose
All the supplies needed to complete this stitch sampler are included!
This class is suitable for students of any skill level, especially complete beginners, and is recommended for ages 12 and up. (Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult).

Please note that MAKE Roanoke is an active workshop:
- All Attendees must have a waiver on file with MAKE Roanoke. Fill out your waiver ahead of time here.
- Children who are not participating in the event are not permitted in the space.
- Closed toed shoes are required in the space at all times by everyone, regardless of age or participation in an event. No sandals, crocs, or bare feet.
- You may be asked to remove or tuck in dangling jewelry, lanyards, etc for safety.
- Depending on the activity, other dress code rules may apply.
