Basic Knot Tying Maker Mini

Join us at MAKE Roanoke for another FREE Maker Mini, this one is taught by Luke B., Ettelie L., and Hristo A. and will teach students how to tie five different knots and the applications to use these knots in you life.

Knots being taught include:

• Bowline
• Square Knot
• Two Half Hitches
• Taught Line Hitch
• Sheet Bend.

Feel free to ask about other knots as well!

This class is suitable for beginners, and is recommended for ages 10+. It is open to the public, you do NOT need to be a MAKE Roanoke Member to attend.

Please note that MAKE Roanoke is an active workshop:

• All participants must have a signed waiver on file. If the participant is a minor, the waiver must be signed by a parent or court-appointed legal guardian. Waivers can be filled out ahead of time at https://mkroa.org/waiver
• Children who are not participating in the event are not permitted in the space.
• Closed toed shoes are required in the space at all times by everyone, regardless of age or participation in an event. No sandals, crocs, or bare feet.
• You may be asked to remove or tuck in dangling jewelry, lanyards, etc for safety.
• Depending on the activity, other dress code rules may apply.
