Machining - Intro to Surface Grinding

In this class, you will be introduced to the basic operations and skills needed to execute fundamental tasks on the surface grinder. This class fulfills the necessary certification to use our Brown & Sharpe #5 surface grinder with a paid Make Salt Lake membership. Surface grinding is a critical process used to achieve a smooth, flat finish on metal parts, making it ideal for precision machining, tool making, and metalworking projects. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool.

Additional Information
Attendees must be at least 16 years and up. After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them access to the Machine Shop and use of the Surface Grinder with a paid Make Salt Lake membership.
