In this 2-session class, you will learn the fundamentals of CNC machining on our Tormach 770 mill, starting from the ground up — no prior CAM software or G-code experience required. In the first session, you'll learn to read and write G-code by hand. In the second, you'll bring that code to the machine and cut your own part in aluminum. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool.

Students with laptops already setup and working are encouraged to bring them. Otherwise one will be provided.
