Hand Router Advanced Usage Workshop

Hosted By

Details
This workshop is an afternoon of learning how to make and use templates and jigs with the hand router to turn out reliable and repeatable results.
Although the CNC Router is a great tool, a lot of what it is used for the in Makespace could also be achieved using the hand router and templates or jigs (and often times quicker).
In this workshop we'll cover:
- Making templates for use with the hand router, both freehand using a pencil, bandsaw, and sander or using CAD and the laser cutter/CNC Router.
- Making jigs to guide the CNC router for cutting specific slots and other complex shapes.
- Hands on application of both in the workshop.
This workshop is open to Members of Makespace with an active fob only.
