ML/AI Group Meeting – Exploring AI Hardware at MakeSpace

As part of the ML/AI Group at MakeSpace, we’re exploring the idea of setting up a shared AI workstation equipped with a high-performance NVIDIA GPU (or GPUs). The goal is to support two main groups within the community:
• Creators & Designers – those who want to generate AI-based images, animations, videos, or text in a privacy-respecting, local setup.
• Experimenters, Developers & Engineers – those interested in fine-tuning models, exploring Hugging Face tools, running training jobs, or helping with technical setup.
This meeting is an opportunity to review interest, find potential collaborators, and identify future owners/trainers.
